Child support is about money for children after parents separate. In most families it is assessed by Services Australia using a statutory formula that looks at incomes, the costs of children and care arrangements.
That is a different door from an FCFCOA parenting order about who a child lives with in Southport. Care percentages can influence an assessment; an assessment is still not “the custody order”.

Private collection and court
Some parents collect privately. In some situations courts can deal with child maintenance. Those are advice questions. Do not treat a verbal “we’ll just sort it” as a complete legal position if one of you later applies for an assessment.
